The article deals with the reproduction of investment activity in agriculture of the Kursk region. Agriculture is the leading sector of the economy of the Kursk region. The leading positions in the production of grain, sugar beet, meat, etc. became the main factors in the growth of the rating of the Kursk region among other regions in terms of the volume of agricultural products produced. This, in turn, became possible as a result of the implementation of large investment projects in the region. The investment potential of the economy of the Kursk region in general and agriculture in particular is quite high. However, from the point of view of the reproduction of investment activity following trends were identified: low growth rates of depreciation are currently slightly in excess of the rate of price growth in the technique, the rapid obsolescence of the equipment will allow in the future to provide due to the depreciation Fund even simple reproduction of investment activities; a reduction in the share of profitable organizations in their total number, a low level of financial discipline of agricultural organizations – on the one hand, this is an increase in receivables and overdue part of it, and, on the other hand, an increase in debt on loans and borrowings received, can cause a reduction in opportunities for reproducing investment activities at the expense of attracted sources due to the formation of an unfavorable image of the borrower from the recipient of investment; - the disproportion in the development of industrial and social infrastructure, even in the context of the implementation of large investment projects in agriculture in the Kursk region, does not contribute to the consolidation of young, qualified personnel in the countryside.
