Agricultural lands are one of the key resources for the development of agriculture and food security. In order to effectively manage these lands and optimize agricultural production, it is necessary to conduct systematic monitoring and analysis of their condition. It includes the study and analysis of land plots, determining their condition, potential and efficiency of use. The main tasks include assessing the quality of the soil, studying the use of land for agricultural purposes and analyzing the state of the environment. Monitoring allows you to optimize agricultural work, improve the use of resources and ensure environmental safety. Land monitoring is necessary for effective planning and management of agriculture. Methodological approaches to monitoring agricultural lands play an important role in agriculture, allowing you to effectively manage and control land resources. This article will consider methodological approaches to monitoring agricultural lands. The purpose of the study is to analyze the condition and use of agricultural lands in the Nikulinsky rural settlement of the Sladkovsky district of the Tyumen region, as well as the problems and prospects for the development of agriculture in this region. The article discloses methodological approaches to monitoring agricultural lands, provides a description of the Nikulinsky rural settlement, studies the dynamics of changes in agricultural lands over the past 34 years, analyzes the state and use of agricultural lands, including soil composition, degradation processes, checks the favorability and suitability of agricultural lands in the study area, and conducts an economic assessment of damage from land pollution. As a result of the study, a set of measures was developed to improve the organization of the use of agricultural lands in the Nikulinsky rural settlement.
