Вопросы, связанные с национальной конкурентоспособностью, являются предметом исследований большинства экономических теорий еще со времен А. Смита, при этом в научном и политическом сообществе до сих пор присутствует крайняя неоднозначность мнений относительно вопросов, связанных с созданием и поддержанием конкурентоспособности государств. Цель данной статьи - рассмотреть различные подходы к определению концепта национальной конкурентоспособности и проследить их взаимосвязь с основными теоретическими школами в области мировой/международной торговли, макроэкономического развития и экономического роста.
