Abstract (English):
The authors conducted a study on the impact of intra-regional differences in economic development of rural areas: the analysis and evaluation of dynamics of development of municipal districts of the Volgograd region, the basic measures of economic development of the rural areas of the region, which is based on agriculture. In order to be able to assess the economic development of rural areas of the Volgograd region, the measures reflecting their specificity were chosen: agricultural production by main types, income of the population, employment, investment attractiveness of the rural areas. The revealed differences allowed to develop priority directions within which development of rural areas would be the most effective taking into account their specifics.
