Abstract (English):
The article discusses the main problems of the agricultural sector of Russia. Without a developed agriculture and a progressive agro-industrial complex, a positive development of the economy and an increase in the well-being of society are impossible. To solve the problems of the agro-industrial complex, comprehensive support from the state is necessary, since the functioning of this sector of the economy is aimed at solving important socio-economic problems to ensure the country's food security.
