Abstract (English):
The article analyzes the essence of the cluster from the point of view of various scientists approaches. A number of objective prerequisites for the successful development of clusters in a number of areas of the Penza region were studied. The following clusters were analyzed: Penza confectionery cluster "Union of Penza confectioners"; biomedical cluster; woodworking and wooden house construction cluster; Instrument cluster "security"; Penza IT cluster; light industry cluster "Legprom". The main problems of cluster formation in the Penza region are identified. Recommendations on the formation of a regional cluster to ensure sustainable development of the socio-ecological and economic system of the Penza region are given. This direction is new for Russia. The article was prepared within the framework of the scientific project No. 20-010-00875 A "Problems of managing sustainable socio-ecological and economic development of Russia and ways to solve them" with the support of the Russian Foundation for Basic Research.
