Abstract (English):
The territory of the Central Caucasus is affected by numerous negative factors that lead to deterioration of the quality of agricultural landscapes and their withdrawal from agricultural circulation. The article is devoted to the actual issue of the quality of protective forest stands on agricultural land in the context of agroclimatic zones and administrative districts. The results of monitoring the state of protective forest stands, the dynamics of their areas and measures to correct the negative situation are presented. Monitoring was carried out by ground and remote methods, the area of the surveyed territory was more than 6 million hectares.
