Currently, the issues of ensuring food security of the country's population are becoming increasingly relevant. Improving the quality of food supply to the population is an important socio-economic task and a priority direction of state policy, since it covers a significant range of economic, demographic and social factors. Russia's accession to the World Trade Organization has most acutely, in a new way, presented the problem of food independence of our country. The main indicators characterizing Russia's participation in the WTO include the aggregated level of domestic support for agricultural production, as well as conditions for access of foreign goods to the domestic market and export subsidies. That is, issues related to the forms and level of state support for agriculture, including tariff and non-tariff support measures, export credits and much more.
