Abstract (English):
The article is devoted to the development of the urban system through the use of an urban planning tool – renovation of residential buildings. The text contains an analysis of foreign experience in the implementation of renovation. The authors give examples of districts of the city of Tyumen in which complex development of the territory will be applied in the near future. The importance of creating a comfortable urban environment by increasing the efficiency of the use of territories is noted. In conclusion, the positive aspects are given when choosing a renovation to create a comfortable living environment.
