Abstract (English):
The paper analyzes the known technologies of timber harvesting in the modern conditions of the development of Russia, reveals their main advantages and disadvantages. Possible technological schemes of timber harvesting using the above technologies are presented. Possible ways of timber transportation by timber trucks are considered, as well as the used schemes of technological sequences for moving timber from forest areas to the consumer.
