The article presents an analysis of the organization of the use of the lands of specially protected areas of the Tobolsk district, functional zoning of the territories of the state complex zoological site «Stershinyi» site II of the Tobolsk district is carried out, an assessment of the ecological capacity of the state complex zoological site «Stershinyi» site II is made. Today, specially protected areas (protected areas) play a special role in society, being of crucial importance for the preservation of natural and cultural heritage, the conservation and study of biological diversity, including rare and endangered species, the conservation of valuable natural resources and unique natural objects, as well as environmental monitoring, scientific research and environmental education, they also play a crucial role in the conservation and restoration of wildlife resources. The problem of rational organization of the use of protected areas of the Tyumen region is quite acute at the moment, most territories lack functional zoning and protected zones, and natural and anthropogenic processes that have a negative impact on these territories are increasingly influencing. Based on the analysis of the organization of land use, measures are proposed to preserve the studied territories, their uniqueness and biodiversity. Specialized measures for environmental protection, for the protection of water resources, for the collection and disposal of solid household waste on the territory of protected areas. The developed project proposals for the protection of the protected areas from the negative impact on natural conditions will allow rational use of natural resources within their borders.
