The article analyzes the results of the last round (2022) of the state cadastral valuation in the Western Administrative District, a special formation in the Sverdlovsk region, which is not an administrative-territorial unit, but has an administration as a form of executive power. It consists of 12 urban districts and 2 municipal districts; about 600 thousand people live on an area of more than 25 thousand square kilometers. An increase in specific indicators of cadastral value was noted in 8 out of 14 segments; the most significant changes occurred in segment 2 “residential multi-storey development”. According to the tax service for 2016 and 2021, a positive trend in land tax collection was revealed, which may characterize the effectiveness of the previous two rounds of cadastral land valuation in the district.
