Abstract (English):
In the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), the state support plan for cattle breeding increases annually, but production indicators for cattle breeding show a decrease in milk production. This paper examines possible reasons for the decline in the efficiency of cattle breeding and formulates proposals to improve the situation in Yakutia. An analysis of the consumer price index in the region is presented; data from 2020 to 2023 keeping cattle by farm; sale of animals for slaughter; as well as milk production. Analysis of data from an information and analytical system on the provision of livestock complexes. An analysis of milk yield per cow by farm for 2023 is presented by type of farm. Based on the analysis, recommendations are made for modernizing the cattle breeding industry.
