Abstract (English):
The relevance of this article lies in the fact that the use of new technologies in agriculture is one of the main tasks for replacing imported products in order to consolidate the country's food security. The purpose of the article is to study and analyze the use of new technologies in agriculture in Russia and the Sverdlovsk region. The article uses the following research methods: the factor analysis method makes it possible to analyze the influence of individual factors on the resulting indicator for the introduction of new technologies into the production of agricultural organizations. The article also uses methods of analysis and synthesis in the study of individual innovations and their use in agricultural organizations of the Sverdlovsk region. The results of the article are regional data that confirm the development of innovation potential in the region. Examples of the use of new innovative methods and technologies in agriculture in the region are given. The indicators of the use of innovative potential are analyzed. Examples are given for individual districts of the Sverdlovsk region, where conditions exist for the development of innovative activities in agriculture. In conclusion, the authors note that the use of new technologies in agriculture will raise it to a high level to maintain the country’s food independence.
