The article discusses issues of economic security of the state, subjects of territorial structure and business units. Today, in the economic system of Russia, issues related to increasing the level of economic security of the country, that is, creating conditions for the progress of socio-economic relations, as well as with an all-round increase in the sustainable development of all regions, are especially relevant. In order to build a positive scenario for this process in the context of ensuring economic security, it is necessary to type the regions depending on the level of economic security.
