In this article, the author examines the impact of the integration of the Northern Sea Route (hereinafter referred to as the NSR) and the International North-South Transport Corridor (hereinafter referred to as the ITC) on the spatial distribution of resources and sustainable development in the Arctic zone. The potential benefits and risks associated with the synergy of these two key transport arteries are analyzed, including economic growth, infrastructure development, changes in supply chains, and environmental impacts. Particular attention is paid to identifying optimal scenarios for the spatial distribution of resources that contribute to the sustainable development of Arctic territories, taking into account geopolitical, economic, and environmental factors. The integration of the NSR and the North-South ITC opens new horizons for the spatial reorganization of the Arctic zone's resource base. The reduction in transportation costs and cargo delivery times achieved through the use of these routes creates the preconditions for the redistribution of production capacity and attracting investment to the region. This presents an opportunity for more efficient exploitation of Arctic mineral resources, the development of port infrastructure, and the stimulation of related industries, which entails a change in the existing spa-tial development model. However, the integration of the NSR and the North-South International Transport Corridor is not without challenges. Intensive shipping increases the risks associated with potential environmental disasters. The need to build new ports and transport and logistics hubs has a negative impact on the region's fragile ecosys-tems. It is important to remember and consider the interests of indigenous peoples living in the Arctic and, therefore, ensure that their rights are respected during the implementation of infrastructure projects. The author believes that optimizing the spatial distribution of resources in the Arctic zone requires a comprehensive approach that considers economic, environ-mental, and social factors. For government agencies and businesses, the key focus is the development of a strategic plan for the development of Arctic transport and logistics infrastructure based on sustainable development principles. It is also es-sential to strengthen international cooperation in environmental protection and safe navigation.
