National security is a multicomponent system, ensuring the sovereign development of the state. The components of national security – environmental and information — are considered. The national project of a strategic nature «Ecology» is presented as an instrument for ensuring environmental safety, the structure of the project, the amount of funding, and the results of implementation are revealed. Information security is considered from the perspective of the implementation of the national project «Digital Economy». The purpose of the project, the volume and sources of financing, and the status of the project for 2023 are considered. The positive aspects and shortcomings in the implementation of national projects are indicated. The conclusion is made about the achievement of the national development goals of the Russian Federation through the integration of national projects into state projects and programs, about ensuring the economic security of the state through the implementation of national projects.
