ETHICAL ANALYSIS OF THE USE OF BIOTECHNOLOGIES IN MANAGEMENT DECISION-MAKING: MINIMIZING TRANSHUMANISTIC RISKS
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
Man has always wanted to improve his physical and mental condition with the help of science. Transhumanism involves a radical transformation of human nature through science and technology. The article presents a study of the concept of technological singularity, as well as an ethical analysis of the consequences of this theory, which will form a type of unequal society in which there would be normal people, transhumans improved by science and technology, and posthumans, perfect beings or entities that would not suffer over time. The fourth revolution will go hand in hand with the convergence of sciences and technologies, and transhumanism is the ideology that promotes them, often without prior analysis of the number of ethical, legal and social consequences associated with the development of these sciences and technologies, their goals, means, predictable and unpredictable consequences that form transhumanistic risks.
