Abstract:
The article examines methodological approaches to assessing the efficiency of development of agro-industrial complex enterprises under modern conditions of sectoral economic functioning. The necessity of distinguishing between operational efficiency and development efficiency is substantiated, which allows for a more adequate assessment of long-term performance results of agro-industrial enterprises. The main methodological approaches to assessing development efficiency are systematized, and their advantages and limitations are identified. Special attention is paid to integrated and comprehensive approaches focused on accounting for indicator dynamics, structural changes, and sustainable development factors. The results of the study can be used in the formation of analytical tools for assessing the development of agro-industrial enterprises and substantiating managerial decisions at the sectoral level.
