The article reveals the problems of motivation of workers in modern realities. It is established that internal motivation is determined by the content and significance of the work, and in turn, the work interests the employee and allows him to reveal inclinations and talents, which in itself is expressed as the strongest motive for active work. Along with this, the importance of work is also an essential internal motive, and when developing a proper motivation structure, it will affect the development of a person's professional qualities, consolidation in the workforce, and a decrease in the turnover of qualified personnel. At the same time, relative job satisfaction may be lower than expected, and its increase lies in the plane of psychological ways of working on the personal qualities of employees.
