The article deals with the problems of introducing the concept of "lean" production into the activities of the Russian agricultural business. To solve the existing problems, it is proposed to use a marketing approach to personnel management, the introduction of a system of "lean" attitude of the agricultural business to an individual employee, and the state to the agricultural business. The importance of recognizing the agricultural business as the main value of its employees, and the state as a separate agricultural business, is justified.
