The article analyzes the strategic priorities of the development of territories with accelerated socio-economic progress using the example of the urban district "City of Lesnoy". The features of strategic development are analyzed taking into account modern macroeconomic and social trends, emphasizing the need for synergy between various spheres – economy, social sphere, ecology and management. The challenges that need to be overcome in order to achieve sustainable growth are identified. The article analyzes the features of the strategic development of the territory, including the development of such areas as infrastructure, innovation, investment and human capital. Various directions of development and formation of an effective management system aimed at increasing the competitiveness of the urban district "City of Lesnoy" and improving the quality of life of the population are considered. Based on the analysis, the projected results from the implementation of the identified priorities of the strategic development of the territory are formulated.
