The article determines the key trends in the development of the agro-industrial complex in the Komi Republic and assesses the state of agriculture in this region. The work was able to trace the development of the agro-industrial complex in four agroclimatic regions of the republic which made it possible to answer questions about the non-universal development of agriculture, crop production, and reindeer husbandry. Referring to the works of domestic authors in the work it was possible to analyze the growth of the agro-industrial complex in 2022 compared to 2018. The key and strategic task of agriculture in the Komi Republic is to bring the industry to production levels. The purpose of this work is to analyze the meat products subcomplex of the Komi Republic: the main development trends and assessment of the state of the agro-industrial complex. Research methods: analysis, synthesis, generalization of the data obtained.
